GemaTech Vision.

GemaTech’s Corporate Vision is based upon the belief that “Work is a thing you do...not necessarily a place to go…" so in the 21st Century why continue to drag your employees – a company’s most valuable asset - to a centralized place of work when, with technology available today, you can so easily take the work to the workforce…no matter where they are located…on a global basis. So why not think in terms of access to a “global workforce”…with everybody seamlessly linked together with voice and data communications… and managed remotely as though they were in one central place of work.

This philosophy is in stark contrast to presently accepted ways of working where ever increasing pressures on families to secure a better quality of life and provide ever more for their demanding children. The two parent working family is here to stay – creating ever increasing pressures on the “work- life balance” where the stresses and strains of both parents having to travel / commute to work after having taken care of the children and sent them off to the child minder, play school or primary school and then do everything in reverse after a hard days work in the office is simply proving to be too much for many resulting in the break-up of the family.

Furthermore, there are so many competent people available for work, who want to work, but simply cannot go to a place of work who could be gainfully employed using this technology. The disabled, single parents, “new” mothers, the mature workers who have to care for ageing parents could all become fully integrated members of society by becoming self sufficient wage earners – referred to by the UK Government as “social inclusion”.

Add this to the fact that the cost of petrol is now approaching £1 a litre; rail fares continue to increase despite the ever deteriorating quality of the service and the need for additional carriages to cope with increasing demand: the resultant increase in CO2 emissions contributing to Global Warming and the argument to enable remote working for at least a proportion of a company’s workforce is compelling.

Adoption of GemaTech’s technology provides the ability for any individual member of staff to receive incoming telephone calls, originally directed to them at their main place of work – the centralised conventional office – literally anywhere in the world with the same level functionality as they would have enjoyed in their office including full voice recording of all inbound and outbound calls made from that remote location. Whilst management has the ability to monitor and manage, all calls to and from that employee if required using GemaTech’s comprehensive remote management platform.
